Snappy Fridays – “Hogtown”

A picture of the Toronto skyline while I was heading into town on the train yesterday.

Snappy Facts:
Toronto got the nickname, “Hogtown”, from the livestock processed by the city’s largest pork processor and packer, the William Davies Company. The company existed until 1927, succeeded by Canada Packers and then Maple Leaf Foods.  (source: Wikipedia)

(Ed: to keep this going with our Bacon vibe, maybe we should call this city Bacon-ville instead of Hogtown?)
