I’m with my son and godson to watch the League of Legends World Championship Semi-Final matches being held at New York City’s Madison Square Garden!
Visited By Chadsey’s Cairns Winery in Ontario’s Prince Edward County last weekend to pick some Chardonnay. We were glad that the weather held and it did not rain.
Later that day, my flu developed…I’m still recovering.
All Canadians: Have a great Thanksgiving weekend!
Hi, everyone! I spent the day snapping pics of my long time friend, Erika, today! As you can see, it was her wedding day! So I was under a semi “media blackout” – haha!
I haven’t forgotten the bicycle race pics – I dropped off my rolls of film yesterday afternoon and I’m hoping they will be scanned and ready for next week. Also, this weekend is chock full of stuff for me to do, so I’ll be posting more pics next week.
In the meantime, please follow our photographic adventures by subscribing here and follow us on instagram (Me – alvin_villanueva and JP – gta86). Also put a like on our Facebook page!
Safe to say, I’m ready for this weekend’s road trip! My son and I are heading over to the beautiful state of Pennsylvania to meet up with Jezza.
You may be asking, “Wait, why all the film? ” and, “Why 1600 Fuji Colour?!?”. To answer, if you’ve seen my earliest posts in this blog, I do shoot film and I haven’t shot film in a LONG time, so I needed a fix. In regards to 1600 – stay tuned to find out!
Tricia (my Jeep Patriot) has the bikes mounted and cargo loaded! With that said, off we go on another weekend road trip adventure. Until my next post, see you all on instagram, Facebook or Twitter.
I was walking from Metro Hall to work today and looked over at Roy Thomson Hall. “Hmm…” I thought to myself. “I don’t recall getting a photo of this place from this angle before…”
– Capacity: 2630
– Opened: 1982
– Home for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and Mendelssohn Choir
– During its conception and construction, Roy Thomson Hall was known as New Massey Hall. Its official name was acquired on January 14, after a CAD $4.5 M donation from the family of Roy Thomson.
Well…ok…I’m posting this on a Saturday… SNAPPY SATURDAY. HAPPY? LOL!
Several weeks ago, I got back into an old hobby of mine: cleaning and restringing guitars. I do play a bit of guitar and tool a bit with my two (almost) 30 year-old steel-string acoustics, which I may snap later on.
Anyway, my friend’s very well used and loved guitar is pictured here. I had offered to prep it (and have it “show ready”) for his son. This was because his son was going to use it to perform his first live performance.
If you want to see some of the “before” pics and some “after” pics, read on…
Taken yesterday afternoon with my Samsung Galaxy S6, outside the York Concourse of Toronto Union Station.
The New York Mets are the first sports team I ever became a fan of. Let’s go Mets!
