It’s been a while since I’ve put in a regular post! Time to get things back to some form of normal. To do this, I went for a walk around some parks found along the Don Valley in Toronto with my girlfriend and her younger sister yesterday.

The weather was crisp and cool, the skies had clouds, but the sun peeked through at times making colours spectacular!

A little out of focus... I was scared of dropping my phone.

Photographers were out in full force today, taking advantage of the colours – almost at peak depending where you go.

Wow! The yellow is so rich!

Instead of taking out my SLR’s or my girlfriend’s Sony mirrorless 3n, I decided to “pack light” and just took “Sammy” (my Samsung Galaxy S6) with me. My girlfriend packed her iPhone 6 and her sister brought her iPhone 5s.

Safe to say, both of their phones outlasted mine in terms of battery life. Sammy died on me as I was taking a pano from the top of the Eastern ridge of the Don Valley Brickworks.  Maybe it had something to do with me setting my display to full brightness so that all three of us can view the absolutely stunning shots being taken.  Regardless, Samsung, yes, you have a great camera (we all agreed that it is better than the iPhone) but with that great camera, I also need a longer battery life, please!

Anyways, enjoy these pics!
