I am what I am. I like food, photography, and anything that does not involve getting mortally wounded, or dying. I don't take things too seriously, so i'm not at all that serious about being serious. Seriously, just have fun, which is what I like to do sometimes, as long as I don't die, or get mortally wounded.

Sugar required.

I don’t know what it is, but I’ve been addicted to gummi bears as of late. Not exactly healthy and not helping either since I need to fit my suit in about a months time.  So to try to feed my cravings and be somewhat health conscious, I bought sugar free gummi bears from CVS, and they absolutely suck. I might just have to quit gummi bears cold turkey.

Weekend wrap-up

So we wrap up the first week (sort of) or our new blog.  It’s still pretty much unshaped, but Cheesecake and I spoke over the weekend, and had a brainstorm on things to come.  Hopefully, soon enough, we can shape this up, and  gain our own identity.  Just to wrap up what went on w/ myself this weekend, much food was consumed, much beer was enjoyed, and also much love was had.  Spending time with the people I care most about is what makes us go about our lives, and I am fortunate enough to have spent all weekend doing so.

And as an added bonus, I saw 2 great movies this weekend, The Bourne Legacy (our own take coming up soon), and The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo. (also our own take coming soon).

I will try to shy away from writing too many reviews as there are too much of that already, but if and when we do it, it will be in a different sort of style that won’t dive into too many boring details.

Let’s put this week behind us, and start a-new.  Everyday we wake up should be a blessing, and no matter how crappy things can get for you, someone else out there has it even crappier.

BTW, what did everyone think of the closing ceremonies for the Olympics?  Great to see the Spice Girls, and whatever is left of Oasis make an appearance. And some of the 80’s hits that were played were awesome (Pet Shop Boys costumes were great!) One Direction just didn’t do it for me, though.  Also loved how the stage looked like the Union Jack.

Spice Girls Olympic closing ceremonies performance (amazing how they still look freakin’ awesome).
*Cheesecake’s note: I apologize for the poor quality of the video, the original video was taken down by the user. What a Debbie Downer.

And lastly, I leave you with a Meme.

Bourne again?

I am going to watch the premiere of Bourne Legacy tonight.  Quite excited as I’ve been waiting for this to be released. Disappointed that it’s not Matt Damon but it does open it up for an uber Bourne movie in the future with Matt and Jeremy. Our review to come this weekend.

What really happens after you trade in your stuff at Game Stop

I doubt anyone has ever really wondered what happens to the stuff you either trade in or sell at Game Stop for about 1/3 of the price you originally paid for. (or +30% if you are a rewards member, excluding hardware)

BUT in case your that one person that did wonder, well wonder no more.  Kotaku has posted such information, so now, maybe YOU can sleep a little more soundly at night.

Really? Another blog?

Yeah, I did this before, and kept it up for about a month, but I was too scared of maintaining it on my own personal site.  Why do it again?  What’s different this time?  Well, I am employing my cousin as a co-editor to help with the content this time, and also, I am doing it through WordPress instead of my own domain/site, hence making maintenance a tad easier.  We will try to inform everyone of useless info, pointless pics, and perhaps, something useful and maybe even educational.  We can’t make promises though.  And seeing as it’s Friday……
