So last Friday, my beloved MK6 GTI developed a check engine light. What triggered it you may ask? Well it was a bad High Pressure Fuel Pump that caused said light to come on.
Anyhow, I got a loaner, and it’s a Jetta Sportwagen TDI

Love this thing, it’s efficient (see below on my MPG at 100+ miles), and with gobs of low down torque, it feels very peppy. This is definitely on the short list (at least the TDI Golf variant which is the same car, just newer and with a different badge) when the little cheese balls do come along.
Could’ve been better if I drove a bit more dainty.
