Alvin here. As you know we are pretty quiet during the weekend on this blog. So I was thinking about putting up a quick blurb during the weekend about happenings around town that I discover.
And to that, Yonge Street from Queen, north to Bloor Street, and Bloor Street from Parliament Street to Spadina Road, were closed this morning to pedestrians only as part of Open Streets Toronto.

Wish I had planned this better. I was a little late to this event. Hopefully on September 6, when this happens again, I will be able to catch it.
