Hey readers, just wanted to wish you all a Happy Holidays! We, Big Cheese, Cheesecake, and I hope you guys and gals get everything you wanted for this season. One thing that I asked for, which i got early; a copy of the Mass Effect Trilogy! Looking forward to adding this to my backlog cracking these open and perhaps doing my own review.

This strip, created by a fellow MGS fan named Chris Douchette, ran this comic from 2003-2008. I was lucky enough to run into all 500 completed pages and wanted to share them with all of you readers. I’ll try to reiterate each and every consecutive page as time goes on. Most of the humor stems from the going on throughout the MGS series, so those who aren’t too familiar may find themselves slightly lost. My solution: play the MGS games. If you’re a gamer like Big Cheese, Cheesecake, and I are, chances are you also have what’s called a Backlog. In this case, the term backlog is used to categorize a library of games that either have been almost finished, partially completed, have been Started a few times, or in my case as it is for my cohorts, games that haven’t even been opened yet. I’m talking about at least a handful or more of games that STILL have the cellophane wrapping INTACT! Shoot, our backlogs even exist in digital variants. I’ve dozens of games waiting for me that I’ve downloaded (including mobile games) stretching from almost 5 years ago that need some dusting off.
Well this certainly was unexpected. It looks like exclusive content won’t be the only thing MGS fans will be able to get their hands on once MGSV: Ground Zeroes finally drops this Spring 2014. Along with the Deja Vu (PS3/4) and Jamais Vu (360/One) exclusive content that will be available it seems Hideo Kojima has partnered up with PUMA to put together a Limited Edition Diamond Dogs jacket dubbed MGSV: Ground Forces. The jacket will be available for PS3, PS4, and 360 versions of the bundle.
Looks like another MGSV Ground Zeroes gameplay trailers is making the rounds this week. This version is gameplay from Xbox One and is actually gameplay footage from previous trailers that we’ve seen in weeks prior. This time Kojima‘s right hand man, Sean Eyestone, is narrating for us the viewers and giving us the rundown on the things gamers will he able to do in Ground Zeroes. A lot of the information that Eyestone is talking about has been covered in my previous articles an have been reiterated in past GZ demoes, but there are some interesting things I took note of in my bullet points: (more…)
