Snappy Fridays – Taste the Rainbows

Well really it was a Thursday Snappy.  Saw a double rainbow on my way home last night.  Does this mean double luck?

Please leave us some feedback below, like our FB page, or just like this post.  It would be better too if you can follow us, so you won’t miss out on stuff you really can miss out on…lol.  But seriously, we’d like to know your thoughts, good or bad.

Random Flickr Photo of the Day – April 24, 2014

It’s been a while since I did one of these. I have been slacking a lot on so many things, this blog included. Just too much ‘life’ stuff going on, but hopefully it will get settled soon enough.
But anyway, I give you this photo I took the other day with my HTC One M8, taken during my lunch hour. I tell you I am loving this phone so much. It’s so nice seeing beautiful colours again.

My Nigri and Friends (WIGN)

Not sure why, but in the past month, or so, but this photos has gotten over 1500 hits. Is Jessica Nigri with Pez Garfield of WIGN fame, but it’s not the best one either. Quite confused.

Red One

It’s been a while since I posted one of these. Have been in a creative slump photography wise. Anyway, just going to post a very clean Mark IV Volkswagen Jetta GLI. I think the owner calls it ‘Red Sauce’. It indeed is saucy. I forget what he did to the car, but it is very nicely done.

The Beast

Dubbed the ‘Wildebeest’ by it’s owner, this Mini forced induced monster is indeed a beast. It’s not only turbo charged, but supercharged as well. The matte green wrapped mini copper churns out upwards of 350+ BHP. A lot of custom work was done through out the car to accomadate the power, and is the epitomy of a ‘pocket rocket’

Pork, the other white meat.  It’s has to me at least a very transparent taste, and it absorbs flavour like no other.  This is pretty much über bacon, pork belly, so good, so tasty so deliciously bad for you.

This was one of our entrees this past thanksgiving, and it was oh-so-delicious.  Perfect compliment to the turkey.

Random photo of the day – November 27, 2012 – Flickr Edition

It’s been a while since I posted a random photo.  Just been behind on a few things.  In any case, here is an oldy.  It snowed a bit today, and reminded me of some older snow scenes that I’ve taken. And looking through my older shots, I saw this one.

Shot with my old Pentax K10D and Pentax’s DA 10-17mm Fisheye.

Shooting snowy scenes always gives me this calming effect, the quietness, the serenity of everything after a fresh snow fall gives you this peace from with in.  At least with me.  I hope you enjoyed.

Pork steam buns from Ippudo – NYC

In short, EPIC. I seriously do not have the expanded vocabulary to even come up with an adjective to describe on  how good this is. All i have to say is if you are ever in NYC, you must give it a go. Oh, and their Ramen’s are also EPIC.

Unsafe conditions

New Jersey Transit and their genius ideas decides to close down half the platform (Track 5) at Newark Penn Station for some renovation work. I understand the need for that, but they also blocked off a part of where the entrance is to the platform, so it gets bottle necked like crazy coming up the stairs. And what’s worse is Amtrak or whoever is in charge of bringing the trains in to the station, waits a long time to bring in our trains. Massive amounts of commuters, small platform = a recipe for disaster. People push to get to the back area of the platform, and with limited space, it only takes one person to give the right push, and the person in front might have an awkward position, can and will fall to the track. And when they finally bring the train in, it’s a mad rush to get inside the train. There is no order what so ever. Even at NY Penn Station, there are 12 Tracks that the NJT uses, why in the world would you bring a train and have it disembark, on the same track that has a train boarding. You know what happens, a dozen or so people coming off from that train trying to get out while hundreds of commuters trying to get down the stairs. We are all in bad mood already because the train is already late coming in. Seriously, they need to do something about our train infrastructure, it’s a complete joke compared to Europe and Asia, a joke.
