Jessica Nigri

Jessica Nigri posing with Garfield.

Again this was from last year’s New York City Comic Con.  And what’s up with the Pez Garfield you may ask.  Well, see for yourself.  Where is Garfield now?

Nothing special on this shot, just a quick test on how my then new Canon Powershot S95 would handle low light situations.  It handled it pretty damn well.  Prior to me getting the S95, I never cared much for point and shoots. But I got tired of lugging either my Nikon D700, or Pentax K20, so to relieve myself of carrying around bulky DSLR’s I did some research, and found the S95 to be a good grab and go shooter.  I am pretty much in love with this little monster, and I will not hesitate to recommend this or any of it’s successors to anyone.  Time and again, this has captured images just as good as my 2 DSLR’s, granted it’s still limited, but still packs a punch.

As you can see on the photo below, it captured the night scene fairly well.

Now, I may or may not be able to post for the next few days.

Have a good weekend everyone!

I love food, espcially when it’s the good variety. Putting each bite in your mouth is like Christmas morning. Great food will give you a flavor explosion with each bite.

Bill’s Special Baked Meatloaf with Hickory-Smoked Bacon and Tomato Chutney is just that, a flavor explosion with each bite. The name, also a mouthful, says it all. I don’t go that crazy over meatloaf, but this one is truly an exception.

This can be ordered in NYC’s NoHo star, a semi-small spot in lower Manhattan, Bill’s Special Baked Meatloaf with Hickory-Smoked Bacon and Tomato Chutney is just one of the many interesting items on the menu. One of my other favorites is Squid Salad.

Mileena and Kitana

2 lovely ladies dress up as Kitana and Mileena. One of the best ones i’ve seen through out NY Comic-Con

This was from last years New York Comic-Con (which is less than a month away).  I must say, there were indeed attractive.

Possibly one of my favorite cars of all time, and one of the sexiest cars of all time, the Aston Martin DB9 is a thing a beauty. Granted this is the drop top version,it still looks absolutely stunning, and it was a treat for me to be able to photograph this DB9 unexpectedly during a Euro Car meet I was attending in Long Island. The owner has had some custom work done on it, with some carbon fiber body work, but it doesn’t detract from the overall beauty of this vehicle. Hopefully I can get together with the owner and take some more shots of this extremely sexy car.

Amazing, a shot I did this year and not from 2 years ago. He he

I shot this during my aunt and uncles renewal of their vows. I also got a stern looking at from the priest after I did, as I stepped on the alter side of the church, and that apparently is a big no no.

This was a shot from 2009 using my Pentax K20D. What I really love with the Pentax bodies is the anti-shake built in the bodies, and not in the lens, granted, my D700 can shoot at low light with no problems at higher ISO’s. The joy’s of having a bigger sensor.

In any case, this was shot in RAW, with some minor corrections in processing via Lightroom.

Still digging through my 2009 pool. I sure as hell shot a lot that year. This was a bookstore located in Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia, PA. It’s at the very end of the market, and I found it out of place. Practically a market place full of food, and at the very end, stands a lonely book store. I processed it in black and white as I think it just adds some drama to the shot itself.

Maybe I should re-process it and add some grain, and some more hardness to it.
