Stay safe from Sandy

The east coast of the US is about to get hit by a massive storm. Please everyone, be smart and safe, during this hurricane. Lots of lives down in the Caribbean has already been lost, and we don’t need to see any unnecessary lives lost once this thing hits. Stay indoors, and don’t go out unless needed, like if you need to get away from floods or what not.

I myself am already stuck in NJ for the next few days with NYC closing up, and my train service, the New Jersey Transit shutting down. Again, stay safe everyone!

      1. Meh… I knew my geography was lousy. 😦 I am glad you’re ok though. I have another friend in NYC itself – Candy Korman – and she has nothing, no light, no heat, no water, no wifi. I only know she’s still alive because she treks to a friends place in uptown to have a shower and send out a few emails.

The thing is, with no power how are you all eating? Most of us have gas cooktops and electric ovens so if one goes we still have a fall back so we can at least eat.

Gah, I am honestly glad I live in a suburb where I have some options in a worst case scenario. 😦
