Metal Gear, MGS, Metal Gear Solid, or whatever you wanna call it, has one of the most involved stories in all of gaming. Hell, it has some of the craziest yarns, period. From the first Metal Gear to the newest iteration in Ground Zeroes, this series has had words thrown at it such as deep, intricate, and the most notable of all, convoluted. It really depends on the player or fan, but I myself, consider MGS (which is what I like to call it on paper) one of the best pieces of story telling that I’ve ever had the pleasure of getting involved in. I have a whole host of games at my Backlog disposal, yet it’s this franchise that keeps calling me back to it. I own every game at least five times over and have replayed each (of the Solids) at least four times. OK, PW doesn’t count because at 100+hrs I still have yet to complete it. But still it’s just such a rich world that there always seems to be something new to find even after so many revisits. Another fact of the matter is that, a lot of gamers still haven’t experienced MGS in all its glory. Maybe they too, have a long backlog of games to tackle. Maybe they think MGS is just a tough nut of a convoluted story to crack. That’s where Reddit user AudioRejectz comes in. He has written as concise as possible all the ins and outs of the MGS saga to help newcomers ease into Kojima’s labyrinthine story.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Live Stream

I have finished playing for now. I will let y’all know the next time I stream. Thoughts on the new MGS game tomorrow!
Watch me play MGSV: GZ for the first time. It’s gonna be pretty bad.
MGSV Ground Zeroes Launch Trailer
Whether or not you already have a copy of Ground Zeroes, there’s never enough trailer goodness showing off some sneaky action. Here’s more!
IT’S HERE!!!
After all the waiting and the misdirection, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is FINALLY in my hands! Sure it’s only the glorified demo prologue, but beggars can’t be choosers. Thanks to Big Cheese for the handoff. I’m currently in the middle of my MGS Playthrough of MGS 1 thru MGS PW (I am one of a select few who will always consider Portable Ops a Canon element in the MGS saga) but once I get thru all of that I’ll have my own First Play Impressions of GZ.
Ground Zeroes Drops Today!
KEPT YOU WAITING HUH?!
Well, Rose, judging by my current calendar, tomorrow will be March 19th, 2014. This means you either have had the game already for a whole day, OR, for many MGS fans around the world awaiting the release of MGSV: Ground Zeroes this means that the game will be available for mass consumption in a few days (March 20, 2014). And sadly, for those living in Australia and New Zealand you will have to wait A WHOLE FUCKING WEEK. For those who live in North America like me, today (March 18, 2014) is the day!
I won’t have access to the game just yet until later today but in the meantime I downloaded and installed the Ground Zeroes companion app that’s accessible via the IOS appstore or Google Play. I still have yet to install it on my 4S but I already have it sitting nicely on my HTC One among some of my favorite games. (more…)
The Last Days Of FOXHOUND (reissue 014 – Blood Drive)
[The Last Days of FOXHOUND is a fan made comic that I stumbled upon a few years ago while perusing the Internetz as an MGS fan. This strip, created by a fellow MGS fan named Chris Douchette, ran this comic from 2003-2008. I was lucky enough to run into all 500 completed pages and wanted to share them with all of you readers. I’ll try to reiterate each and every consecutive page as time goes on. Most of the humor stems from the going on throughout the MGS series, so those who aren’t too familiar may find themselves slightly lost. My solution: play the MGS games. You guys wouldn’t be here anyways if you haven’t at least played MGS1. Anywho, enjoy!]

Calvin & Hobbes (1985-1986 Reissue 005)
[Calvin & Hobbes is one of the best comic strips to have come into existence in the latter part of the 20th century. This strip, created by the awesome Bill Watterson, ran for a decade, from November 18, 1985 to December 31, 1995. As a kid I discovered the first ever collection of strips in book form self titled Calvin & Hobbes in a local bookstore. As I glanced through the first few pages I became instantly hooked. It centers on a 6 year old boy Calvin, and his stuffed toy aka best friend come to imaginary life Hobbes, and their adventures about life. It’s a truly remarkable series that I’d like to share with you boys and girls. As that sharing goes, I’ll do my best to pepper in a strip as time goes on. Enjoy!]

Earworm: Shakira – Can’t Remember to Forget You ft. Rihanna
There are 2 things going great for this video, a very hot Shakira, and a very hot Rihanna. There is a song somewhere in there, I kind of lose focus. Enjoy!
