RANDOM PHOTO OF THE DAY – SKATE? SKATE?! SKAAATE?!

Put this one under the uber lucky tab. Now, I am a big dude. Standing at 6 foot 6 inches, I am tall for someone of asian decent to say the least. Some time ago one of my nephews had a birthday party at an ice rink, or an ice skating birthday party, so my wife and I volunteered to take him, since we can both skate and his parents can’t. Now for a tall dude, I have pretty big feet. It goes without saying. Long story short, they did not have skates in my size (shoe size 15), and I was stuck in the sidelines watching everyone have fun. Flickr Random Photo of the Day – Sunrise

It’s been a week since I was out enjoying the waves and the sun and I haven’t been able to adjust back to normalcy.  Having said that, it pains me to look at my vacation photos since I wished I was still there.  I did happen to open up Lightroom though and I just so happen to close it at one particular sunrise session I did.  One of the shots below, which I am not too crazy on, but I am sharing with y’all anyway.  More from this set to come soon!

Yes, it’s not tack, and somehow I managed to unsettle this 1.3 second exposure.

Digital Follies – The 2015 Toronto Buskerfest!

I’ve managed to run around Downtown Toronto on Saturday to watch some of the street performers at the Scotiabank Buskerfest. As you know from my Saturday post, this event (the largest of its kind in North America) ran all weekend. Proceeds from the event were donated to Epilepsy Toronto. #donateateatthegate.

ParaPanAm Games: Women’s Wheelchair Basketball

A little more than 2 weeks ago, I had put up a quick pic that I took before the ParaPanAm Women’s Wheelchair Basketball Gold Medal Game – The USA vs. Canada.  Sorry these pics are a little late.

Game Time Inside the Rogers Centre

Alvin’s Film Follies (Part XII – A Visit To Toronto’s Rogers Centre)

I recently was invited to attend an event at the Rogers Centre which included watching the Toronto Blue Jays (as you may have seen in my Snappy Friday teaser).  It was a great day to be out and enjoy a ball game too, although the skies were much more impressive the day before.  In the past few weeks, I have come to the conclusion that there is something wrong with Penny, so I borrowed my son’s camera (a Pentax ME Super) to see what sort of photos I would get on this day.  Let’s just say, paired with my fisheye lens and a cheap 80-200 telephoto, I was left pretty impressed.  Enjoy the pics I have posted, within.
