Earworm: Paramore – Pressure (and an editorial)

We are back! Well sort of. I know it’s been a long while since any of us three has posted anything. I myself just got married, and had to go through the process of moving, and getting readjusted. Pat, is wrapping up his HS life, and getting ready for college, and Clothed Snake moving in to a new homestead, and working some freelance gigs. Something had to give and unfortunately, this had to be put on the backburner.

Hopefully we can start providing some sort of content, as we enter into the holiday season, and maybe provide y’all with some fun and immature stuff.

To kick off our sort of return, I give you an earworm, in the form of Paramore’s latest single and video called pressure.

Nothing better than listenting to their smooth sounds, watching them jam out. As usual Ms. Williams looks amazing, with those red locks. Of course, the preverbial cherry on top, water gets dumped on the band, and, I have to admit, seeing a wet Hayley got my heart to skip a bit momentarily.

Enjoy!

Earworm: Still into you – Paramore

My favorite song of 2013.  I cannot get enough of this song, partially because I feel the same towards my soon to be wife.  It’s really something when you find that someone, and they make you feel that way.  I also love their self titled album.  Go pick it up if you haven’t done so.

Top 30 Favorite Songs of All Time: #1

The first. The only. The song that brought christened me into the world of music.

Numb, by Linkin Park, off Meteora, their end-all, be-all best album, no matter how much I love Living Things and A Thousand Suns (and hell, Hybrid Theory and Minutes to Midnight. I love them all).

The Big Cheese, yes, him again, got me to listen to this song when I was quite young. I listened to it all the time in his trooper of a red Dodge Neon.

This needs no explanation. This song… is epic.

Earworm: “Now” by Paramore

Ah, good old Paramore. Although, this isn’t old Paramore. This is a different sound, and it’s a little reminiscent of early 2000’s pop-rock, like No Doubt.

Paramore’s Now is the first single off their new album Paramore, and it has been stuck in my head since I first listened to it last night. It’s actually a really good song. The lyrics have meaning, the guitar is crazy, and it doesn’t really hurt that I love Hayley Williams.

She can do no wrong, in my eyes. Except that crazy hairstyle she rocked in the music video for B.O.B’s Airplanes… That was… Interesting.

Anyway, here’s the audio released by FueledByRamen, hope you enjoy the song!
