Television

Bridezillas

No. No, no. I’m completely drunk off of this amount of stupidity.

You think celebrities are stupid? No. Think again.

Regular friggin Americans. Holy crap.

Bridezillas is a show that airs on We, and it’s quite possibly the only the show that has ever made me completely shit faced from dumbassery in a one hour time period.

I can’t explain how, but I honestly feel as if I’m never going to recover from that.

Cooter!!!!

Please, please watch Bridezillas responsibly, this is a public service announcement.

Top 30 Favorite Songs of All Time: #11 “Crush” by Pendulum

I remember vividly the day The Big Cheese and I saw Linkin Park at Madison Square Garden a couple of days before my birthday two years ago, February 4, 2011. The concert was nationally televised on Fuse.

What wasn’t televised, however, were the opening bands. Does It Offend You, Yeah? and Pendulum.

People I know have heard of DIOYY, but seldom do I know of anyone that has heard Pendulum before.

The guy sitting behind The Big Cheese and I didn’t stop pestering us about Pendulum. Telling us about how his sister had introduced him to the band and about how they’d be the best part of the concert. He was wrong, but nevertheless, Pendulum did turn out to be a fantastic band. Too bad they couldn’t get a good crowd reaction, the only crowd there to enjoy it was the pit.

Here’s a song from them for you to listen to.

Oh, and Pendulum has gone on hiatus.

Funny Honda president’s day commercial.

My GF brought this to my attention, and it’s quite funny.  Lyrics are very witty, and it’s reminiscent of Justin Timerblake and Andy Samburg’s digital shorts on SNL.

I also like the Honda Pilot’s Crazy Train commercial

Super Bowl

Harbowl

Harbowl

It’s that time of the year, where america pretty much shuts down, and watch 2 teams go toe to toe for football supremacy.  Fans and and non-fans alike all gather at bars or someones house to either watch the game, schmooze, watch the commercials or just hang out and get drunk.  TV‘s are actually priced better for superbowl weekend than black Friday.  Last year, I was in the zone, as my team, the NY Giants were set to face off against the New England Patriots.  The first time they faced, my Giants stunned and stopped New England‘s bid for the perfect season, so this time around, they wanted to exact revenge.  Well, my Giants came out on top, and, that was that.  I’m not a fan of either team this year, but I am a bit more partial for the Ravens, partly cause I do like Ray Lewis, and it be nice for him to win one more.

His dance is also awesome.

So, let’s all fill up on chicken wings, beer, nachos, and whatever else people eat today, and enjoy that is the Super Bowl.

I was going to do a blog as the game went along, but I don’t think that will be possible. Recap post later on.
