Oh my.

We’ve all had those WTF moments. And for gamers, we have had our fair share of extremely crazy WTFs. Here’s a gamer’s take on his top 10 WTF moments in video games.

Top Gear US Season Opener

Season 3 of the US version of Top Gear premiered today, and I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed it.  It’s still lacking something, but, it has gotten better since it the first season.

My only gripe still is, that they only really have about 45 minutes (1 hour, save time for commercials) so, they can only do so much.  They covered the Crown Vic’s replacement on the law enforcement side, which proved to be entertaining.  I still don’t get why it always ends up Rutt in a Chevy, Adam in a Chrysler, and Tanner in a Ford.  I have some expectations for this season, as they do seem to get better and better with each episode, and the chemistry between the 3 presenters also get better.

Check your local listings for re-runs.  Next week’s episode seems fun, with 3 urban vehicles being tested.

It shows on the History Channel at 9 EST every Tuesday.

Sugar required.

I don’t know what it is, but I’ve been addicted to gummi bears as of late. Not exactly healthy and not helping either since I need to fit my suit in about a months time.  So to try to feed my cravings and be somewhat health conscious, I bought sugar free gummi bears from CVS, and they absolutely suck. I might just have to quit gummi bears cold turkey.

More motivation.

People, people. What have we learned from fear? Fear causes hesitation. Don’t hesitate. It’ll make your fears come true. Go with your gut. Either you give it all you’ve got or you don’t do it at all.

Big Cheese note: please be responsible. We do not in anyway want you to hurt yourself. Do not try this at home.

Weekend wrap-up

So we wrap up the first week (sort of) or our new blog.  It’s still pretty much unshaped, but Cheesecake and I spoke over the weekend, and had a brainstorm on things to come.  Hopefully, soon enough, we can shape this up, and  gain our own identity.  Just to wrap up what went on w/ myself this weekend, much food was consumed, much beer was enjoyed, and also much love was had.  Spending time with the people I care most about is what makes us go about our lives, and I am fortunate enough to have spent all weekend doing so.

And as an added bonus, I saw 2 great movies this weekend, The Bourne Legacy (our own take coming up soon), and The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo. (also our own take coming soon).

I will try to shy away from writing too many reviews as there are too much of that already, but if and when we do it, it will be in a different sort of style that won’t dive into too many boring details.

Let’s put this week behind us, and start a-new.  Everyday we wake up should be a blessing, and no matter how crappy things can get for you, someone else out there has it even crappier.

BTW, what did everyone think of the closing ceremonies for the Olympics?  Great to see the Spice Girls, and whatever is left of Oasis make an appearance. And some of the 80’s hits that were played were awesome (Pet Shop Boys costumes were great!) One Direction just didn’t do it for me, though.  Also loved how the stage looked like the Union Jack.

Spice Girls Olympic closing ceremonies performance (amazing how they still look freakin’ awesome).
*Cheesecake’s note: I apologize for the poor quality of the video, the original video was taken down by the user. What a Debbie Downer.

And lastly, I leave you with a Meme.
