awesome

I actually didn’t shoot this.  My friend shot this, and this image is highly edited.  This was during possibly the greatest vacation I ever took.  End of summer 2009, I went to the Pacific Northwest for a few days for fun and relaxation.  It was all of that and then some.  Just travelling without and stress is a worth ten times more than the cost of the trip itself.

My friend showed me around the Seattle area, and we took a drive down to  Portland, Oregon for the day.  On the drive back, we elected to drive towards the Pacific Coast Highway, to stop by the Pacific Ocean.  We got there a few minutes before the sun started to set.  I took a few shots of my own of the sun set, and little did I know my friend was taking photos of me taking photos of the scenery.  I turned around and saw her, so I decided to take a pic of her also, and this was that photo.  I ended up messing around wit it a bit in photoshop, and I made it look like i was shooting the sunset instead of me taking a picture of her.

One of  my fave shots during the ‘Where is Garfield Now’ era, or WIGN for short.  I just did some play with some lights, and made one of my Alien toys, stalking Garfield.

I really ought to bring back a similar series. The original Pez dispenser is all beat up, so I should pick up another similar one.

Earworm: “Pork and Beans” – Weezer

I don’t know how or why, but this song has been stuck in my head.  I’ve been humming it for a while. The video is flippin awesome too.  Takes a poke at everything on the intertubes.

Enjoy it!

I hope everyone had a fantabulous weekend.

So, The Big Cheese is out celebrating his best friend’s wedding and I will be the one taking over the RFPD today!

So, let’s get started.

I like pictures. I like travelling. I like taking pictures when I travel. I also like art. And especially graffiti. Or wall murals. See where this is going?

I saw this bad boy in New Hampshire on a small side trip coming home from Maine. It was a really cool mural, and I had nothing but a cell phone to take a picture with. My Droid Incredible 2, needless to say, did a good job with this one.

Earworm: “Toxic” by Britney Spears

First off, this song is awesome. No dispute from anyone. This song, is just… epic.

I’m addicted, okay?

Oh, the diversity of my music library! This killer song is on repeat, and it’s now my Earworm.

There should be no need to explain the awesomeness of this song to anyone. Or the video. Britney is damn sexy in the video. Just… awesomeness all around for this song.

*I do apologize for the possible Nicki Minaj image that appears if you decide to watch this intense jam on YouTube.

**Nicki Minaj is no bueno.

Earworm: “Take on Me” by A-ha

Okay, when you insult Take on Me, you cross the line. This is by far one of my favorite songs, and I am sorry, but if you don’t think that it is one of the greatest songs ever (or even argue that it is not music), you have no taste in music. It is a necessity on a list of top songs. For me, it would be number 7.

My buddy, who I shall refer to as Bruce for the sake of anonymity, and I were skateboarding at an indoor skatepark, and the stereo system started blasting 80s and 90s jams, and this classic hit was the first on the playlist.
I screamed, “YES THIS IS BOMB!” and Bruce said, “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! THIS ISN’T MUSIC!”
..Oh Bruce, your musical horizons must be broadened.

Of course, none can argue that this music video is fantastic.

By the way… “HIT IT MR. BUTTERS!”
