Earworm: Peanut’s Theme – Vince Guiraldi

Tis’ the season right?  Since Thanksgiving has come and gone, it’s safe to start posting some Christmas type things, and to start off I’d like to present to you a timeless classic, the Peanut’s Theme.

I heard this while I was walking in at Starbucks, and I can’t stop humming it.  It’s such a soothing piece, and it more ways than one, calming.  We are in the home stretch, and hopefully, the Mayan’s are wrong, and we’ll see past December 12th.

Mobil-blog: Normalcy

The lack of heat and lights at my house is getting tiring, but, at least that’s the only thing I have to bitch about. A lot have no homes to even get to.  So for those that bitch and moan about not having power or TV, be thankful. It could be a lot worse.

Having said that it’s nice to have a functioning cell/data service from Verizon and a mall to warm up in.  Sitting here amongst the number of powerless refugees to charge up, warm up and just not be at home. Having a proper cup of coffee helps.

Normalcy is what we all need. Whether its going back to work or just doing Any activity like running or drinking coffee, anything to help us not think of what just happened and sort of move on.

I’m still not at work due to commuting complications and lack of power in our office.  So I’m trying to find my own normalcy.  Coffee helps…

My then usual nightly beverage, well it still is technically, but now instead of a Venti, it’s a Trenta. What is it?
it’s a passion Iced tea, no water, light on the ice, 2 equals. My home Starbucks, in Branchburg, NJ is the only place that gets it right, well, most of the barista’s get the mix right, although now, some have moved on, the newer ones still haven’t quite got the mixture right.

This drink I order from here exclusively, as they are the only ones to get it right.
