I am what I am. I like food, photography, and anything that does not involve getting mortally wounded, or dying. I don't take things too seriously, so i'm not at all that serious about being serious. Seriously, just have fun, which is what I like to do sometimes, as long as I don't die, or get mortally wounded.

Random Photos – Warrington, PA

My wife, my son and I took advantage of the beautiful early afternoon by taking a stroll at Lower Nike park in Warrington, PA.  It was a good 3 or so mile loop, and it gave us a good light work out.  We also happen to spot a coyote, but I was unable to grab a shot though.

Enjoy some sad attempt at bird photos.  These were shot with the Pentax K3, with a Pentax 100mm F/2.8 Macro WR, and Fujifilm X100S.

Please leave us some feedback below, like our FB page, or just like this post.  It would be better too if you can follow us, so you won’t miss out on stuff you really can miss out on…lol.  But seriously, we’d like to know your thoughts, good or bad.

Random Photos – Doylestown, PA 3

I’m going to be honest, there’s probably going to be an abundant amount of random photos from Doylestown.  That’s not necessarily a bad thing though.

Shot with Fujifilm X100S, processed to taste in Lightroom.

(Note: I hope the bird survived.  We almost stepped on him.  Not sure if he’s able to move anymore at all.)

Random Photos – Flemington/Ringoes, NJ

I am in a creative rut whenever I am in NYC for some reason.  Maybe it’s because i’m on my way to work, or I am at work, and my mental capacity just wont let me input anything else other than what I have to do for the day.  My shots today are from my drive going to work, and on the drive home, while getting gas.

All shots were done with the Fujifilm X100S, processed in Lightroom to taste.

Random Photos – Doylestown, Pa 2

I did a walk around on another part of my town, so some different looks. Not as much this time around though. I used my Fuji X100S again, but I also brought my Pentax K3 with a 100mm F/2.8 Macro WR mounted along for the walk. Enjoy!

Random Photos – Doylestown, PA

Hey everyone! I know it’s been a while since we have done a serious stream of posts. Life has been crazy to say the least. I am now a proud new father, and just that alone has taken up my free time. Leading up to this, with all the preparations has eaten up every fiber of my being, as well as my wife. Anyhow, I am hoping to start a new series of posts, simply called ‘Random Photos’ and with a sub-heading of the town I happen to be taking those photos.

Today’s entry is from my current home town, Doylestown, PA. I shot these with a Fuji X100S in raw, edited in Adobe Lightroom to taste. Oh, and I suck at street photography, so bear with it. LoL

Chester Bennington: March 20, 1976 – July 20, 2017

It’s been over 24 hours upon hearing the death of Chester Bennington, the lead singer to my favorite band, Linkin Park.  I am at a loss for words for this, and to be honest, it did hit me harder than I thought it would.  I have been listening to Linkin Park and Dead by Sunrise (his side project from a few years ago) since yesterday, and to think that incredibly unique voice wont be belting out harmonies deeply saddens me.

Our deepest condolences to Chester’s family, and his close friends.  We hope you have found your peace.

For now please enjoy some of our favorite Linkin Park, Dead by Sunrise, and for the most part Chester’s body of work.

Earworm: Bacon Ft. Ty Dolla $ign – Nick Jonas

I am putting this song up as an earworm for one reason and one reason alone.  It’s called “Bacon”.  Other than that, I really don’t care much for this song, but maybe you will. Enjoy!

2016 Thompson Bucks County Classic – Part 1

Men's Amateur Racers speeding through the streets of Doylestown

Men’s Amateur Racers speeding through the streets of Doylestown

As I mentioned in my last article (seen here), the Thompson Bucks County Classic is one of my favorite events to watch in person every year. The action is fast and furious, and every year as the crowds get bigger, the electricity and the energy just gets multiplied with each passing lap. This year there were 4 races that took place. The Amateur Men’s kicked the day off, followed by the Kid’s Races.  Also, the Classic’s first ever Lenape Scorcher Race took place. (the bikes known as Penny Farther, or Big Front Wheels)

And then we have our Pro Women’s, and Pro Men’s. Of course, in the center of all this action was the Doylestown Arts fest. Sadly, Alvin and I were not able to really soak in the Arts fest for one reason or another. It did seem fun, and definitely a lot activity taking place as we walked through the fest a few times to get from one place to the next.

Early specators

Early spectators

In years past, I really just approached the weekend as a spectator, taking in the sights and sounds. In the last few years though, I have been taken up in capturing the event, trying to share the joy I get when I watch the race unfold before my eyes. (more…)
