EARWORM: MUMFORD & SONS – THE WOLF

My wife brought this song to my attention, and now I cannot stop humming it.  I have to say, this song is very out of the box for Mumford & Sons.  Had I not known it was them, i would have not guessed it was them.  And I think that’s a good thing.  It keeps them fresh.

Lara Croft Fan Film

I love fan films, since fans tend to stay true to the subject matter, and they don’t muck it up with visions of grandeur.  Sometimes keeping it simple is the best way, and this Tomb Raider/Lara Croft fan film fits the bill.  It’s still a bit cheesy, but, it’s a helluva lot better than Angelina’s rendition about a decade or so ago.

Earworm: Spice Girls – Wannabe

We are near the end of our all girl Earworm week, and to commemorate that, let’s get some girl power on.  Pop super group, Spice Girls ruled the waves back in the late 90’s.  I mean, 5 amazingly attractive British girls prancing about.  What more can a hormonal college kid ask for back then.  (Ok, lots more, but you get the drift)  Whatever Zigazig ah is, I want to to it w/ all five of them. Earworm: M2M – Don’t Say You’ll Love Me

M2M is a Norwegian pop duo that briefly came to our consciousness in the late 90’s when their song ‘Don’t Say You’ll Love Me’ was a song that was in the first Pokemon movie.  I have no idea why I thought of them all of a sudden, and why I was sort of humming their song at some point today.  It worked out well, since they are the next entry in our ‘All Female’ Earworm week.

Day 2 of our female artist earworm week, and today we shall share with you another 80’s pop icon, Tiffany.  Her and Debbie Gibson battled it out back in the day.  I do however prefer more of Debbie’s songs.  Anyway, enjoy this great 80’s hit.

I’m going to start off with female artist earworm.  So starting today, I will be posting up songs that I find myself bopping my head to, and end up singing the rest of the day when I hear it on the radio/satellite radio. I’ll begin with 80’s pop icon, Debbie Gibson.  We heard this on the radio at work today, and we basically had a Debbie Gibson morning, and well, I’ve been shaking my head to her love all day.  Enjoy!
