Metal Gear Solid V GDC Trailer

Hot off the pressess from this years Game Developers Conference, Hideo Kojima show’s off the next iteration of his Metal Gear Series.

I haven’t fully seen it yet, but from what I saw, this is making me giddy.

 

Kojima Is Already In San Francisco For GDC!

So Kojima has finally made his way to San Francisco for GDC. Tomorrow he will be presenting his demo of the FOX Engine called “Photorealism through the eyes of a ‘Fox’ – The core of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes.”

The presentation will clock in at around 90 minutes and will be streamed live via GameSpot. The crew at Kojima Productions did some rehearsals today and were kind enough to take some photos during the process.

Back when I reported this news a few weeks ago I was in some form of excitement. That still hasn’t waned for the most part. It’s actually just switched gears a bit.

Jetstream Sam DLC Cutting And Taking April

On April 9th Japan will receive a tasty little treat in the form of DLC. Players will be able to take on the role of Jetstream Sam aka Samuel Rodriguez and will also find out more about his backstory and some details eluding to his past before the events of Rising. The DLC will cost 1000 yen. Here are a few more screen shots.

MGR Review Still Going Strong

Hey boys and girls. Just dropping a quick update to let y’all know that I’m still playing Metal Gear Rising. Some fun things I’ve found out along the way so far are little touches enemy AI in terms of animations.

Happauge PVR 2 Impressions and a quick Tomb Raider Gameplay video

A few days ago, I finally bit the bullet and bought a Happauge PVR 2 to provide you guys with some additional content on the games we are playing.  I had bought this knowing that it will not work with the PS3 using HDMI.  Since it has HDCP protection, you need to hook up your PS3 via component connection, and not HDMI.  Anyway, the install, and set up on the PC was pretty straight forward.  I just had to reset my PS3 video settings to do component since I was hooked up via HDMI.  Long story short, after about a 15 or so minutes, installing the software, hooking it up, and resetting my PS3, I was up and running.   (more…)
