Earworm: “Woo Boost” by Rusko.

Um, well, yes, this is dubstep. Woo-woo-woo-bahbahbah-woop. That kinda ish, y’know? The noise your grandparents complain about.

I guess this is a popular dubstep song to begin with, but I heard it first just this weekend in an Adidas outlet store in Deer Park, Long Island. Heard it playing and instantly knew I had to Shazam it.

Not a bad tune to get the energy flowing when painting or drawing or on a photography shoot or driving or whatever you’re doing. Played it all day today when I was drawing. Drawing, drawing, drawing. Arts.

All I can think about lately is arts.

Oh, and the fact that technology is failing on me. My phone is breaking again, although I can safely blame one or two apparatuses, one being the actual charging port itself, or the charging cable I am using. And my mom’s laptop literally crashed as soon as I turned it on.

On my way to NYC, I remembered one of the Big Cheese’s lessons: parallel lines are odd. And so I took this. Cool story, bro.

I dislike schoolwork, but I’m looking at schools.

I apologize to any of you and all of you who are readers of my posts, specifically. Due to my load of schoolwork from AP classes, I have not had a chance to fulfill my duties as a contributing co-editor. I’ve been keeping updated with the blog, but need to make some edits on grammatical/spelling errors, not like anyone cares. I love you all.

Anyway, the point of this post was to inform people of the colleges I wish to attend and to pose a question, which will be asked at the end of the post and to be answered by you, the readers, in the comment section below.

I’m really looking towards two schools, both in the New York City area.
— School of Visual Arts (SVA),  Manhattan
— Pratt Institute, Brooklyn (with locations in Manhattan and Utica)

another college I may consider is the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). I might consider FIT, but that’s a very slim possibility.

The question(s) I wish to ask is(are)… Should I be following my dreams to become a graphic designer?

My lunch from Terakawa Ramen, 23rd st. and Irving (or Lex.). It’s as good as it looks if not better. It’s a lot of food for $9.oo. A must if you are in the area.

So today is totally random. This was a little treat from our boss. Well the last of the treats, there was another apple pie and a caramel sundae that was already consumed before I took this shot.

Earworm: “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life” – Monty Python’s Life of Brian

Ever get one of those day’s when things just don’t work out? Phone ran out of charge, left your wallet at home, train’s late, little annoyances that just make you go “FUCK!”.  I do, and yes, I do get annoyed.  I’m annoyed my Droid Bionic sucks ass, annoyed I have to commute 4 hours a day to work, annoyed I don’t make enough money, etc., etc.,.

Ever think that you’re glad you can make such complaints to those little annoyances? Probably not, but it’s nice that you can bitch about it.  Think in other places in the world, that, they can’t even do such things.  At times it puts me back in my place, put’s things in perspective, and makes me grateful for all the things that I have, good or bad.

I think this song from one of my favorite movies sums it up.

Night Runners

Disney Marathoners pounding away the miles at a desserted Walt Disney World. I spot them as we speed by in the monorail. A quick but difficult shot, hardly any light, lots of movement, but I managed to keep it steady enough to make the shot half intesting. This is merely the beginning of their journey, as well as mine.

Sans NYCC 2012

It is my deep regret that I just wrote a blog will NOT be attending this year’s New York City Comic Con.  Due to procrastination, and pretty much a total disregard for time, I was unable to purchase tickets for this years event.  Basically, I forgot it was coming up, and when I had time to go get tickets, it was pretty much sold out.  Hopefully we will be able to go to other similar events, and next year, we will have a better online presence to provide everyone with a complete or near complete coverage of the event.
